Ricardo Condori F. holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Bolivian Catholic University (UCB), where he graduated as one of the top students and the youngest in his class. For his thesis, he conducted research in collaboration with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as part of the Suma Uma project, which spanned 10 municipalities along the Patacamaya-Tambo Quemado road near the Bolivia-Chile border. This project focused on water management in the region.
Ricardo has also worked with various NGOs, including the Italian International Cooperation, Proinpa, and Ecopades. His work in these organizations centered on Andean agriculture, covering aspects such as farming, harvesting, pest control, irrigation training, and the extension of crop technology, all specifically related to Andean crops.
Later, Ricardo transitioned to the construction industry, working with companies such as Wara and Tecnoarq. In these roles, he was responsible for managing the construction of irrigation systems, water catchment, storage, and distribution structures, as well as facilities for human and animal water consumption, including wells and drinking points.
Originally from La Paz, Bolivia, Ricardo is fluent in Spanish, has some proficiency in English, and speaks Aymara, a native indigenous language.
At FIEA Bolivia, Ricardo is responsible for logistics planning, communication liaison, procurement of materials and services, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. He focuses on achieving project objectives related to water, irrigation, sanitation, training, and related activities, while carefully managing cost, time, and quality to ensure project completion.
