MicroProjects Programme Community Development Officer

FUN FACTS

Passionate about farming

Enjoys acting and script writing

Mdluli is a passionate community development officer driven by a desire to uplift and empower disadvantaged youth in Eswatini. With a strong foundation in both education and the arts, he brings a unique blend of skills and experiences to tackle community challenges.

Mdluli's journey began with a degree in Adult Education from the University of Eswatini in 2021. However, his dedication to community development started even earlier, volunteering as the Transport and Logistics Officer for Microprojects during his undergraduate studies. Prior to that, he honed his leadership skills by founding and directing a performing arts group called PelePeleI.

Reflecting his diverse talents, Mdluli's childhood was filled with both social engagement and nurturing his green thumb through a home vegetable garden. These early experiences continue to influence his holistic approach to community development. His greatest professional achievement was earning a promotion from Transport and Logistics Officer to Community Development Officer. That is a testament to his commitment and growth.

But Mdluli's ambition doesn't stop there. He enjoys delving into research, crafting captivating scripts for stage and television, and envisions leveraging these skills to further empower young people. His dream is to see them flourish through farming and performing arts, creating a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
