Caitlin was born in Victoria, Canada and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. Throughout university she volunteered her time to multiple positions within her university’s EIA chapter. She has one year experience working at a structural engineering firm in Vancouver, Canada, and is currently working full time in Edinburgh, Scotland doing transportation planning. 

Caitlin joined the EIA marketing team in July of 2024 as a way to remain involved with the organization post university. She is very excited to be working alongside such a devoted team and to play a small part in changing the future of so many communities through EIA’s work.

In her spare time, Caitlin travels a lot in an attempt to see as much of the world as she can. When she is not travelling she is exploring Scotland and can be found hiking Munros, out on a long run, or swimming in the freezing lochs.
