2022: Yudai Hatano
As the Project Manager of the Jatun Pampa Project - the biggest bridge in Bolivia that year - Yudai successfully led a young team comprised of members from four different Universities (including two new chapters) through a challenging design and construction process.

The Notre Dame team showed exceptional organization, high attention to detail, and outstanding competence during the Uruchini Project.
2021: Gopi Ramanathan
As a co-Project Manager on the Atiqui Project during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Gopi led his team through a difficult project preparation process, which included heavy spatial constraints and required a unique cable car design for successful construction.
2021 Team: Duke University
In spite of COVID-19 stopping travel, the Duke team showed strong technical skill and exemplary organization during the Atiqui Project - successfully completing a long rebuilding period for the team.
2020: LeÏLah Sory
As a founding member of the McGill Chapter, Leïlah showed exemplary initiative throughout her student involvement. In 2020, Leïlah demonstrated strong leadership as the Project Manager for the Mbhonconco team - encouraging her team to provide quality work even when travel was suspended due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
2020 Team: University of Notre Dame
In spite of the COVID-19 Pandemic cancelling student travel, the Notre Dame team committed to delivering quality reports and products to enable the successful construction of the Lubanjiswano project. This included creating COVID-modified reports that were subsequently made into EIA template documents.
2019: Brittany Margritz
As the Project Manager of the 2019 Mallkuchusi team, Brittany demonstrated exemplary leadership. Her leadership helped the Mallkuchusi team navigate difficult site conditions and unexpected emergencies to successfully complete this bridge.
2019 Team: University of Notre Dame
The 2019 team successfully completed the Mallkuchusi project started by the 2018 team, in spite of continued challenging site conditions.
2018: Mitch Trollip
As the Project Manager for the Chavarrias, Bolivia footbridge, Mitch helped the University of Alberta team overcome several obstacles, such as a last-minute site change and a road blockade that threatened to leave them without materials.
2018 Team: University of notre dame
The team dealt with a complex site with difficult rock conditions while working on a bridge in Mallkuckusi, Bolivia that will serve 63 people.
2017: Sam Sweet
As the Project Manager for the Edlangeni, Swaziland footbridge, Sam led the University of Colorado Boulder team in establishing a program in Swaziland and building Bridges to Prosperity's first footbridge there. Despite many setbacks along the way, Sam kept team spirits high and inspired the team and community to finish the huge bridge that spanned 74 meters with 3 tiers on one side and 3.5 tiers on the other!
2017 Team: University of Notre Dame
The team built a 120-meter bridge in Nicaragua serving upwards of 1,000 people. The exemplary team worked together seamlessly throughout the preparation and execution of the bridge, problem solving and successfully overcoming challenges along the way.
